Etik is a duet coming from Rouen, France working as aesthetic preparers for vintage motorcycle.
Build from the ground up in the beginning of 2014 by Ben & Damien, it all started in the back of Damien’s garage. These two childhood friends did not start this adventure out of nowhere, after spending years and years dreaming of riding legendary motorcycles. After spending entire days trying to give a unique soul to these motorcycles, that looked until then more like wreck than « café-racer », the duet decided to become real fixers, soon to be well-known for their amazing quality work.
ETIK philosophy is the love of well-done work. It is a truly passionate workshop where every step is carefully prepared and executed so they do not let room for fortuity. Each motorcycle is studied under every angle before thinking of the customization. This designer way of work comes from their previous work, where they learnt the art of manipulating materials with style.
What have Ben & Damien prepared us for our trip to Normandy? Well… a BMW 75-6 Flat Twin admirably reworked through. Looking like a wreck at first, they knew how to give this vintage motorcycle its unique and « raw » personality back, as well as keeping the elegancy of the old 70’s motorcycle. The owner being passionate about nautical sports, ETIK oriented the design on colour inspired by a mythic sailboat.

More than 10 hours of work were needed to give this vintage the appearance of a new motorcycle. Installed of an old hospital bed, it waits quietly to go for a ride.
As charismatic as it looks in the workshop, everything makes sense once you turn the key... Ben wears his LEON sunglasses before going for a ride is the desert road of a Normandy forest. A fresh air of freedom emerges when driving this vintage.
Damien wears a NELSON pair. With their total adventurer state of mind, this duet could not look more perfect!
